Group Items

Quick Summary: Combine multiple products into kits or bundles that ship as a single SKU.

Overview

Group Items let you combine multiple products into a single SKU — also known as a kit or bundle. When a customer orders a group item, the warehouse picks all the component products together and ships them as one unit.

Common uses: - Starter kits — a set of products sold together - Gift bundles — multiple items packaged as one offering - Sample packs — assortments of different products

Group item stock is determined by the component with the lowest available quantity.

Quick Start

1. Navigate to Inventory → Group Items
2. Click the + menu and select Add Group Items
3. Enter a SKU and Description for the group
4. Add component products by searching for their SKU
5. Set the Quantity for each component (how many of each product go into one group unit)
6. Click Save

Type in the search box to filter group items by SKU or Description.

Actions

Use the + menu for: - Add Group Items — create a new group item - Group Items Bulk Upload — upload many group items from an Excel file

Use the Download button to export the group items list.

Creating a Group Item

Required Fields

Adding Component Products

In the Items table:

1. Click + Add New SKU
2. Search for the product SKU to add
3. Select the product from the results
4. Set the Quantity — how many units of this product are included per group item
5. Repeat for each component product

Group Item Detail Page

Click any group item SKU in the list to open the detail page.

Actions

Detail Sections

• Description — group item name
• Created / Last edited — timestamps
• Warehouse Stock — stock levels per warehouse (On Hand, Quarantine, Available, Reserved, Total Available)
• Items — component products with SKU, Unit Type, Unit Qty, Description, and Qty

Bulk Upload

Upload multiple group items using the ItemGroupTemplate.xlsx template.

1. Click + → Group Items Bulk Upload
2. Click Download Template
3. Fill in the group item SKU, description, and component SKUs with quantities
4. Upload the file and submit

Workflows

Workflow: Create a Product Bundle

When: You sell a set of products as a single offering

Steps: 1. Ensure all component products exist in Products 2. Navigate to Inventory → Group Items 3. Click + → Add Group Items 4. Enter a SKU (e.g., STARTER-KIT-001) and Description 5. Add each component product with the correct Quantity 6. Click Save

Result: Group item created. When ordered, the warehouse picks all components together.

Workflow: Modify a Bundle

When: Adding or removing a product from an existing bundle

Steps: 1. Open the group item detail page 2. Click Edit 3. Add new components with + Add New SKU or remove existing ones 4. Adjust quantities as needed 5. Click Save

Result: Updated bundle applies to new orders.
